What is Veritas’ Thursday Night Wine Bar?
Join us any Thursday evening (and the first Saturday of each month) for Veritas Wine Bar – a small plates event located in one of West County’s most interesting new culinary shops. Choose an appetizer or two to share with someone or enjoy a full meal of small plates. The evening’s menus, which change each week, feature the freshest ingredients prepared in our open kitchen. (Our menu is different from week to week but a sample menu is printed on the right side of this page that is representative of the types of options available at Wine Bar.) Sit at the bar and watch your meal come together from start to finish. Or, sit at one of our tables situated around the shop and visit with friends while you enjoy the Veritas fare. Outdoor tables are available when weather permits.
Wines for the evening are available by the glass or the bottle. Several wines are open, at the back wine table, and are available for tasting prior to making your selection. Veritas wine professionals enjoy talking about the evening’s choices and offer as much information as our guests like. Many conversations include talk about the origin of the wine, the variety of grape used to make it and bits of information about the maker or growers.
Wine Bar starts about 5:30 and closes for the evening about 11:00, come for a few minutes or the entire evening.
